Translations & Localization

No. Stolik Menu provides the system to manage translations, but you must enter the content manually. This ensures high-quality, accurate descriptions of your food.

Yes. Since you enter the price separately for each language tab, you can have a Burger cost $10 in the English tab and €12 in the French tab.

If you switch from PRO to Free, your translations are safely stored in the database. However, the Free version only allows one active extra language. You will be asked to choose which one to keep active. The others will be hidden but restored if you upgrade again.

Go to Stolik Menu > Menu Editor > Translate, select the target language, and look for the Categories Translations section. There you can override system text like “All”.

Customization & Features

Absolutely! The PRO version unlocks the “Design & Style” tab, where you can customize fonts, colors, and layouts for menu titles, items, prices, and the category navigation bar to match your brand.

Yes, the plugin is translation-ready. You can translate interface strings (like “All Dishes” or labels) using plugins like Loco Translate or WPML.

This is usually a caching issue. Please try clearing your browser cache and any WordPress caching plugins (like WP Rocket, Autoptimize, or server-side cache) after saving your settings.

QR Codes & Sharing

The plugin features a “Self-Healing” mechanism. If you migrate your site or change your domain, the plugin automatically detects the change, regenerates the QR code with the new URL, and updates the cache. You do not need to manually regenerate codes.

To ensure the QR code is scannable, the logo cannot cover more than 9% of the code’s surface area. The plugin automatically scales your logo to fit safe dimensions.

Currently, the QR generator creates a link to your main menu page. However, you can manually copy a category link from your website and use a third-party generator if you need deep-linking to specific sections.
